The Marketing and Publicity Coordinator is an enthusiastic and highly organized individual. This dynamic position is responsible for developing and coordinating marketing & publicity plans and media buys for the AGA, establishing and managing production schedules and working with suppliers to ensure that materials are produced and delivered on time and on budget. The Marketing and Publicity Coordinator also takes the lead on creating and executing contests and cross-promotions, managing visitor research projects, and producing reports on marketing activities.
The Marketing and Publicity Coordinator helps to build an engaged community of journalists, bloggers, stakeholders and visitors to the AGA, to broadly communicate about AGA programs, exhibitions, events, retail services, membership, education activities and more. This position also ensures that all written communication is accurate, error-free, and reflects and further develops the AGA's brand voice. This position works to expand the AGA's visibility and build audiences locally, in Western Canada and across the nation.
The Marketing and Publicity Coordinator is a team player with a positive attitude prepared to help with all tasks to ensure the department runs smoothly on a daily basis. This position tackles urgent requests while balancing long term projects. The Marketing and Publicity Coordinator takes initiative collaborating with AGA departments and community partners.
