To develop relationships with racing owners, trainers, jockeys, jockey agents and others around the track in order to gather material to be written and distributed to racing and general media.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or other related field. Experience in the communications and/or media with background in horse racing with proven record of taking on varied responsibilities.
Extensive knowledge of Thoroughbred horse racing, it’s history, history of Arlington and experience in dealing with the many people that are involved in a race meet and the ability to tell their stories in well written fashion is the key element of this position.
