CNC Operator At Arktura

Location: Gardena, California

Job Description

Our widely published company is headquartered in a fast-paced design office and manufacturing facility in LA. We design, develop, and manufacture a variety of façade systems, interior wall and ceiling systems, custom art installations on a full range of state of the art equipment, in our 75,000sf facility. Our growing team is seeking an organized, and proactive candidate to fill the role of CNC Operator. Projects are constantly changing, quantities range from one off prototype's to short run production. You will be joining a fun, energetic and motivated team

The ideal candidate will possess all of the following:

  • Must have experience, minimum 3 years in a production environment running lathes and mills
  • Must have the ability to setup and touch off tools, machine jaws for both lathes and mills.
  • Must be able to read and understand G-code, and make edits to hit specs.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with HAAS CNC a Must
  • 3+ years experience setting up and working CNC lathes and mills
  • Must have 1+ years cutting experience with Zund or similar machine
  • Knowledge of manual machines a plus
  • Full knowledge of measuring tools required
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and complete setups autonomously

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 pounds
  • Frequently lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds using mechanical equipment
  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
  • Regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
  • Climb ladders of varying heights
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
