Product - Technical Development Designer/Developer At Aritzia

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Technical Design/Developer, you work directly in product creation with the objective of ensuring product fit, construction and quality are the absolute highest, all the while accurately representing the Designer’s creative vision.

You will make an impact at Aritzia by:

• Possessing pattern-making abilities – you are educated in the complexities of garment construction, fit and quality standards
• Maintaining consistency in sizing and across garment fit
• Communicating sample and pattern requirements to factory using photos, fit comments, tech packs, blocks and patterns..
• Identify potential fit, quality and production issues and make appropriate recommendations while maintaining design’s creative vision and fit intent.

In addition, you have:

• 4 year degree program in Fashion Apparel
• Comprehensive understanding of Garment Construction
• Expertise in pattern-making including grading, construction and fit for multiple or complex product
• Experience using Gerber Accumark or a comparable software
