Our Sourcing team has their finger on the pulse of current and future sourcing needs. They ensure we have the best vendors, in the right places to deliver the highest quality product at the best price.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Trim Sourcing Director, you will lead and motivate the team responsible for managing a network of world-class trim and packaging vendors. You’ll rely on your sourcing expertise to create and execute Aritzia’s global sourcing strategy. This role is deeply collaborative – not only will you work with our vendors; you’ll collaborate across the entire product team and within your own team to bring our design vision to life. Your strength in communication, leadership, creativity and industry knowledge, will play a pivotal part in developing the critical function of our business.

THE JOB

As the Sourcing Trim Director, you will:

• Develop and source innovative trim and packaging
• Create, implement and communicate a global trim sourcing strategy
• Oversee and implement the Product Branding calendar and corresponding time lines
• Research, introduce, and onboard new trim and packaging suppliers
• Maximize brand alignment and the highest quality for the best price for trim and packaging
• Ensure minimal trim liability at each season changeover
• Partner with production to ensure a stable supply chain with quick lead-times, balancing costs without impacting quality

QUALIFICATIONS

The Sourcing Trim Director has:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred
• Proven experience in global apparel sourcing fabric
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and deliver results through others
• Retail experience within fashion/apparel
• Ability to travel overseas
• The passion to build, develop and grow!
