- 8+ years of relevant work experience in partner marketing, demand generation in high-technology companies, ideally in cloud and/or enterprise software space
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
- Managed marketing for a large regional partner for 5+ years, preferably a GSI
- Willing to travel to meet with sales leaders, partners, attend events and support the sales team

In the Sr. Partner Marketing Manager, Global System Integrator role, you will work closely with key strategic global partners in the Americas to help enable, develop and deliver a partner marketing program that enables these partner to retain and grow existing clients, target new clients and deliver growth in revenue from AWS services. You will develop a deep understanding of the AWS field priorities to define and execute a regional partner marketing plan to support the growth objectives for your dedicated partners. You will act as the local marketing contact for these strategic partners including regular participation in team calls, in-person meetings and planning sessions. The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, as well as a marketing background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales/field reps. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and marketing, with the ability to drive thought leadership in region, execute Account Based Marketing and create digital marketing strategies. The candidate will work closely with the partner and the partner sales team to identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to target, with a joint value proposition for using AWS.
You will constantly monitor and support partner utilization of Marketing Development Funds and enable appropriate spend of MDF on marketing initiatives including being an expert resource on process, guidelines and options for these strategic partners. You will constantly seek to improve upon communication to the partner so that they are aware of the full scope of marketing resources and support that AWS has to offer. You will be the voice of these strategic partners needs into various internal stakeholders and be willing to share best practices across the region.
