Product Marketing Manager, AWS Academy At Amazon Web Services, Inc.

Are you looking for a role that challenges both your creative skills as well as your analytical abilities? AWS Training and Certification is seeking a talented and experienced marketing manager to build, manage, and execute marketing programs to drive growth of an existing member community that includes institutions, educators, students, and hiring organizations. AWS Academy is a corporate social responsibility initiative focused on promoting AWS Cloud education within higher education institutions in over 30 countries. The program takes a holistic approach to professional development for educators, developing and implementing courses for students, and aligning with educators to ensure that students have a clear trajectory to employment.

In this role, you will provide marketing support for the whole lifecycle of the program. You will develop value messaging that speaks to segmented customer profiles within the program ecosystem: institution leadership, educators, students, and employers. You will implement a global marketing strategy for AWS Academy that begins with a B2B approach to growing a membership community and includes communication, event strategy, and community engagement. You will lead cross-functional projects that leverage the breadth of resources within the AWS Training and Certification team. You will develop internal and external communications, including messaging, launch-related deliverables, campaign content, webinars, newsletters, blogs, video, social media, and collateral. You will build and execute marketing programs to foster engagement with our global academic community, including online forums, testimonials, and events. The role requires the ability to analyze messaging, get creative about new approaches to reach the various customer sets. You will drive campaign effectiveness, make recommendations about how to modify efforts based on metrics and results, and clearly articulate data and recommendations to stakeholders, including Product Marketing leadership as well as the AWS Academy global leadership team. The ideal candidate must have superior communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic. The right candidate is extremely data-driven and comfortable with planning and executing on various stages of marketing programs; demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience managing priorities independently and working effectively across a number of global internal stakeholders.
