Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience. One year of experience must include: IP networking fundamentals and the application of IP protocols; use of protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VPNs, MPLS, DNS, RTP, IP, TCP (internals and flow control), UDP, DHCP, DWDM, Ethernet, and HTTP; experience with Cisco Platform which includes Cisco 37xx, 39xx, 45xx, 49xx, ASR, or Nexus device; experience with IPSec / Remote Access VPN technologies , Firewalls (ASA 55xx) , or Wireless (802.11x); experience with Python, Shell, Java, C++, C#, or PERL scripting; and documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.

Support employee installations globally. Collaborate with teams of engineers located in different regions around the world to support connectivity options for the Corporate, Customer Service, and Subsidiary locations. Support cutting-edge, multi-vendor data connectivity solutions. Monitor and maintain performance and capacity at Amazon's office installations. Work with vendors and cross-functional teams for on-going design efforts and systems support. Support and build wireless solutions for a variety of Amazon locations. Support and build ISP facilitated meshed MPLS connectivity for all Amazon Customer Service locations.
