E-Commerce Coordinator At Air Canada Vacations

Location: Montréal, Quebec

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Consumer Growth and Engagement, the E-commerce Coordinator will coordinate and support the execution of web projects and digital marketing. The candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing each step of the web projects, working closely with various team members such as Marketing Coordinators, the E-Commerce Manager, and the Web Designers. The candidate will have a key role in making the production workflow efficient. The E-commerce Coordinator will assist all team members and contribute to the growth of department. Must have strong communication skills and demonstrate positive leadership.

Tasks

  • Review briefs for online content and promotional placements and update the digital portions of the marketing calendar accordingly for search, paid social, display, email and E-Commerce
  • Assist in organizing and mapping out tasks in task management systems and play a role in constant prioritization
  • Gather pieces of information and all web assets, follow-up with other departments and make sure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with third party vendors for various digital needs
  • Assist with AdTrafficking for display advertising
  • Support merchandiser in regards to updating promotional assets on the different versions of the website
  • Coordinate requests for quick fixes on the website and assist with QA
  • Document our competitor’s E-Commerce and digital marketing initiatives
  • Suggest and roll out new processes when needed
  • Assist team members with day-to-day digital tasks and communications
  • Perform other tasks or assignments on a per-request-basis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent) in marketing, communications or related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in project coordination
  • 1-2 years’ experience in online marketing or E-Commerce
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and work with short deadlines
  • Autonomous
  • Team player and ability to bring positive leadership
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office
  • Travel industry experience, an asset
  • Basic knowledge of html, social media and AdServing, an asset
  • Good problem solving-skills
  • Knowledge of Jira and Trello, an asset
  • Perfectly bilingual (English/French)
