Air Canada seeks a highly motivated, detail orientated Product Manager to join the Digital team at Air Canada. The ideal candidate is responsible for strategy and execution of new experiences and features on Air Canada’s digital touch points. This individual must be customer journey centric and have a passion for the travel industry and an in-depth knowledge for creating innovative and high performance digital experiences. They also must be comfortable in working in a high paced, high energy, collaborative environment with a focus on a continuous product delivery model.
  • Lead the Strategy, planning and implementation of features and functions for the retail shopping experience on Air Canada digital channels
  • Responsible for creating and prioritizing the digital shopping enhancements and features schedule to support the team’s key performance indicators
  • Lead and mentor a team of business analysts to build industry leading digital experiences
  • Collaborate with air shopping technology providers to identify new capabilities and areas of performance improvement
  • Understand and stay current on travel retail and technology trends to understand their potential impact on our industry and Air Canada and apply learnings within AC
  • Identify and drive new ways of working together using new processes and tools
  • Prepare presentations and actively participate in meetings with senior leadership across the company
  • Oversight of test strategies and overall product quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of analyst or product management experience focused on digital products.
  • Experience with air shopping and merchandising systems from Amadeus, ITA, Farelogix, PROs, etc
  • Strong understanding of at least one type of Agile process such as SAFe
  • Experience with SDLC tools like JIRA, Confluence, HP ALM, and MSFT TFS
  • Experience with understanding analytics reports from tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Experience with troubleshooting tools such as TeaLeaf or Glassbox
  • Experience leading a team of business analysts and UX/UI designers
  • Strong management, organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong experience in complex digital projects
  • Ability to energize people in fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Innovative and creative with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities
  • Ability to provide clear direction and effective communication both in technical and business terms
  • Prior experience with Quality Assurance a plus, but not required
  • Airline or Travel Industry experience required
  • Coding or design experience a plus, but not required
