Rapidly growing, award winning, Toronto based Hedge Fund/Investment Company is looking for a Sales and Digital Media & Marketing Specialist/Administrative Assistant. Successful candidates will have strong sales and admin experience, work as part of the team to assist with a broad range of internal and external business development and marketing activities to support the Firm.
- Identify opportunities to expand the profile of AIP in the market through speaking engagements, media, social media, etc.
- Perform sales function by sourcing out new assets via digital marketing/cold calling
- Coordinate webpage content updates
- Work with the team to facilitate local advertising and promotion
- Support the development, preparation and maintenance of marketing materials and presentations
- Assist with processing of account payable and updating databases
- Maintain the necessary filing systems
- Ad hoc projects as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a relevant field
- Excellent time management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and to work in a fast-paced environment
- Some financial Industry knowledge
- Inside Sales ability
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong client-service orientation as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Superior technical skills (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Extensive knowledge of social media and digital marketing
