Analyst, Sales & Business Development At Ainsworth

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Position Summary:

Analyst, Sales & Business Development will work in close collaboration with the sales teams in quarterbacking daily sales administrative activities, such as RFP/RFQ process from reception to submission, assisting in opportunities pursue, tracking and forecasting. In addition, you will be part of the team in standardizing and streamlining sales processes to ensure smooth sales team operations.


Responsibilities

  • Develop creative presentations and prepare content for sales meetings
  • Assist outside sales in opportunities administration, tracking and forecasting
  • Coordinate RFP/RFQ processes from reception to submission to ensure timely and quality submission
  • Monitor RFPs and identify opportunities for business development (i.e. trade shows, industry events);
  • Prepare both internal and external communications regarding important business unit updates;
  • Plan and participate in company/business unit events, coordinate all related activities as required;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies;
  • Maintain client database and mailing list;


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role with strong industry experience
  • Previous experience in sales activity coordination supporting Ainsworth customer base
  • Hands on experience in coordinating with internal stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Business Process Team etc.) & back-office systems.
  • Hands on experience with tender and RFP/RFQ processes
  • Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, bilingual will be an asset (French & English)
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization;
  • Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, autonomy, flexibility, and attention to detail;
  • Able to work under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities;
  • Industry experience in technical trades, an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, or other related qualifications, an asset.
