Your contribution at AIG

As a member of the Financial Lines Canadian team, AIG’s underwriters develop insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, and embody AIG’s tradition of innovation, bringing to market groundbreaking insurance solutions for our changing world. AIG’s underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including life insurance, aviation, financial lines, casualty, environmental, catastrophic events, high net worth individuals, and boardroom liabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and service an existing renewal book of commercial insurance in addition to producing and underwriting new accounts from brokers within an assigned territory
  • Coverage analysis of manuscript forms with the ability to tailor them to specific client needs
  • Pricing analysis using data analytics and modeling tools
  • Presentations and marketing to brokers and insured’s
  • Achieve assigned budget targets
  • Maintain profitability


What we are looking for

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of Financial Institutions experience managing a large and diverse book of management liability and/or errors & omissions business from multiple brokers
  • Post-Secondary Education OR equivalent industry education and experience
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines following company guidelines as well as in a team-oriented approach to accomplish goals
  • Strong analysis and decision-making skills
  • The candidate will possess a strong drive to succeed
  • Confident knowledge of systems and PC applications, especially utilizing spreadsheets
