DAY TO DAY:
Will work within our Fieldglass VMS so need to have Fieldglass experience, will be supporting our internal MSP program,. Schedule interviews, run reports, open job postings, take requirements, gather information from managers and someone who is client facing.
They will support a variety of all labor categories, clinical, clerical, IT depends what we have open. This position will support overflow projects and need to be flexible rather than just knowing one area.
This position is responsible for identifying, developing and executing sourcing strategies specific to the Labor Category for the most cost-effective pricing and best service; supporting and enhancing External Labor Program strategic processes; partnering with business owners to define specifications and requirements; managing Labor initiatives for a specific group; a trusted advisor supporting and communicating program controls to address risk and compliance. This position is also responsible for and will support the management and governance of the Labor supply chain by ensuring adherence to contractual terms and conditions. This position is accountable for managing and measuring KPIs, ensuring suppliers are delivering on business needs, driving supplier performance improvements and mitigating suppler risk. Provides oversight and direction to external third-party suppliers to ensure adherence to the company's standards and requirements. This position may also be responsible for monitoring trends and industry's best practices and for proactively raising recommendations to improve value or business outcomes.
SUMMARY (Role specific):
Critical member of a high performing External Labor Program team. Consultants are responsible for fostering business owner relationships. This position is accountable for managing all aspects of the External Workforce Services process; training and mentoring junior team members and implementing the identified opportunities directly alongside senior management. Managing relationships with established supply chain with deep knowledge of Labor Category KPIs.
Provide guidance and oversee components of assigned External Workforce services
Deliver efficient solutions that improve the performance of internal operations and external supplier relationships
Resolve operating issues related to process and systems continually mature processes over time
Proactively engages and consults with customer teams to identify, develop and execute labor sourcing strategies
Sets expectations and train customer team and participating supply chain when executing initiating sourcing initiative
Develop and deliver presentations to customer teams and leaders that highlight the benefits of the company's contingent sourcing
Identify opportunities to continuously educate seeking greater customer understanding and customer buy-in
Ongoing review of supply chain appropriateness for assigned customers
Execute and create value and enhance value and savings
Acts as the liaison between the customer and supplier; manage and coordinate customer and supply chain interaction
Serve as a point of escalation for issues related to supplier performance
Ensure strong relationships are built with suppliers to influence effectively
Effectively engage in supplier rate negotiation based on comparative and established market rate analysis
Lead engagement with the appropriate division(s) to ensure compliance with all applicable policy and procedures and handle sensitive matters with the utmost confidentiality
Invest time in continuous education of the external workforce market and make recommendations to leadership
Responsible for program reporting and supplier performance strategy and metrics
Lead supplier performance meetings
Report, respond to and resolve operating issues related to process and systems
Recommend process efficiency, tool enhancements and strive for continuous improvement external workforce service improvements
Significantly support Manager / Director in related External Workforce Services activities and processes
Chair for special projects relating the EWS improvements
SME for VMS tool enhancements and integration enhancements
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
College Degree in Business, HR or Finance, or 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
5+ years of experience in an external labor program,
Viewed as expert in field
Effective team leadership
Problem solver who can drive and lead change
Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Extensive experience in managing relationship with supply chain
Conflict resolution skills.
Consistent thought leadership
Self-sufficient on all projects, with minimal to no leadership direction
Contribute to continuous improvement for external labor program tools, process, procedures, etc.
Extensive experience in project management and contract negotiation.
Extensive Experience developing presentations and presenting to management and other internal groups.
Ability to lead projects without much leadership guidance
Lead and drive to desired customer outcomes
Experienced with Labor industry VMS tool(s)
PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint
