Aerospace Federal Credit Union ($380M in assets), located in El Segundo, California is seeking a dynamic individual for its Marketing Analyst position. This position is responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the market, trends, competitors, potential and existing members, and current campaigns. The successful candidate will conduct research and analysis of new and existing financial products and marketing promotions designed to meet the strategic business objectives of Aerospace Federal Credit Union (AFCU).
Perform extensive market research and determine ROI for marketing campaigns.
Evaluate market data and identify new market opportunities.
Evaluate member demographics for trends or behavior that can be leveraged for new business opportunities.
Evaluate pricing in various distribution channels and marketing outlets to assess competitiveness of current AFCU product offerings.
Administer the marketing department's analytical database.
Work with internal and external resources to define data requirements that enhance analytical capabilities.
Generate mailing lists for target marketing for various communication channels, i.e., email, social media, print media, etc.
Assist in the creation and implementation of an annual marketing plan.
Assist in marketing campaigns to increase market share with existing members and acquisition of new membership.
Assist with additional facets of marketing, as necessary. Time will be split approximately 50/50 between analytics and general marketing support.
Perform copywriting for blogs, social media and newsletters.
A four-year degree in Marketing or related discipline
1 year of data analysis experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective copy writing and proofreading skills
Proficiency in Tableau Data Analytics Software
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point), with an emphasis in Microsoft Access
Experience in the credit union financial services industry is a plus.
