Marketing Graphic Designer

Location: New York, NY

OVERVIEW:
This Graphic Designer works closely with the Marketing Creative Director and other cross-functional partners to assist in the design and production of compelling online experiences, manage assets, and develop customer-facing collateral in a fast-paced retail creative environment.

Ideal candidate should have a broad portfolio, demonstrating strong skills in web design, typography and layout. In addition to excellent design skills, a successful candidate will be able to work effectively in both a collaborative and independent environment to complete projects while meeting all deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create engaging, brand-appropriate customer experiences for use on Nautica.com websites and mobile.

Knowledge of, and ability to create relevant content for different devices.
Sort and manage campaign imagery and digital assets created in the photo studio.
Assist with creative projects that are related to the retail Ecommerce business.
Partner with Ecomm business team to identify and schedule creative needs.
Release all content to external partners accurately and on time.
Attend all relevant meetings to plan and strategize all upcoming content needs.
Keep up-to-date with calendar changes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in graphic design or related field is preferred.
Previous digital graphic design experience required.
Basic working knowledge of HTML/CSS with an ability to code simple projects is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
Good conceptual and organizational skills, with the ability work on multiple projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines.
Talent for multi-tasking with an ability to work efficiently under pressure with strong focus on the details.
Ability to gracefully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Excellent process-oriented skills.
Photo editing/retouching skills a plus.
