Jr. Software Developer - 6 months internship: June-Dec 2019, with possible transition to a permanent position
Aeriosense Technologies is an exciting early stage start-up working on reducing the cost and improving the safety of infrastructure inspection. Aeriosense was founded in 2016 to develop unmanned aerial inspection solutions for industrial clients. Safe and efficient flight of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones) can be achieved through automation. Aeriosense is currently developing drone automation software that allows automatic piloting and reporting for transmission line inspections.
We are looking for you: a talented recent grad with experience on commercial software development and data analytics who is looking for a challenge.
How you will make a difference: As a key member of our small and versatile team, you will have the opportunity to research and test different UAV inspection methodologies and help us deploy innovative software solutions for complex aerial systems.
Aeriosense is currently testing and implementing the beta version of its solution with industry partners. Your job would be to help us improve and build the next iteration of our solution. Based on your strengths and project priorities you would be working on several of the following areas: UAV inspection methodologies analysis, reporting/data visualization functions and flight/mission performance analytics

Basic Requirements:
-Applied Science/Engineering degree with broad software and robotics or related technical background.
-Strong technical writing and communication skills with proven experience composing in-depth technical reports.
- Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
-Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, Java, Python, R
-Experience with Android app development
-Strong data analytical skills
