Account Executive Partner Activation At AEG

Location: Los Angeles, California

Job Description

Position Summary:

AEG Global Partnerships is seeking an Account Executive, Partnership Activation. This person will be responsible for managing and executing the signage asset for L.A. LIVE and STAPLES Center. In addition to their primary signage duties, this person will be responsible for managing and executing activation requests, supporting global technology platforms, and managing marketing partnerships within the L.A. LIVE and STAPLES Center portfolios.

Essential Functions:

Signage Asset Management – Manage day-to-day processes and maintenance on signage asset throughout the L.A. LIVE and STAPLES Center venues. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Creating Out of Home (OOH) Sales Decks & Spec Decks
  • Shooting Proof of Performance (POP) photos & building decks inclusive of photos for each client running content on LEDs & static units
  • Working with Sales Manager to create renewal decks for current clients
  • Build ‘pitch’ decks for potential new business
  • Manage all signage asset tools and organizational documents (Spreadsheets of most up-to-date signage inventory, content lists, content calendars, camera maintenance and check out system, etc.)
  • Photo curatorial and capture of major events on campus with regards to signage
  • Lead weekly meetings with Manager to discuss signage updates/forecasts
  • Work closely with AEG Digital team to maintain inventory control & organization of partner content

Account Servicing – Manage day-to-day maintenance and fulfillment of partnership agreements. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Attend all events that require a partnership activation to ensure proper load-in/load-out
  • Fulfillment of all elements in accounts including promotions, grassroots events, broadcasts, signage, hospitality, etc.
  • Develop and execute new and exciting promotional concepts for partners to help provide maximum return on investment
  • Prepare internal production notes for the Global Partnership that includes event details and send out to all activating partners and arena personnel in a timely fashion
  • Preparation of partnership recap for teams, events, and venues at the end of the year/season in a timely manner

Administration – Maintain various databases and reports as assigned by Supervisor. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Partner contact information
  • Partner checklists and tracking sheets, this includes requesting appropriate wristbands and credentials from building security
  • Recap creation, tracking, analysis and maintenance of archives to assist with future projects and ensure partner satisfaction
  • Collect Certificate of Insurance and all required permits for all activating clients and ensure that coverage meets required limits, effective dates, and insureds. Work with corporate risk management and safety to guarantee activations meet minimum standards
  • Prepare internal production notes for the Activation team that includes event details and send out to all activating partners and stadium personnel in a timely fashion

Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum education level of a Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
2. 2 – 4 years of related work experience
3. The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
4. Highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and projects at once
5. Excellent at relationship building and people skills
6. Possess strong problem-solving skills
7. Proactive and have the ability to work independently without the need for supervision
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks
9. Ability to handle minor lifting and load/unload merchandise
10. Must be fully capable and proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
11. Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs (games and events) of the company including working nights and weekends.
12. Proficiency in Spanish
