The purpose of this position is to effectively coordinate implementation of strategic communications plans and tactics for internal and external audiences. In addition, the position will assist in the implementation of hospital strategic plan and strategic communications, marketing and government relations' tactics to help achieve the growth goals for the hospital and system.
Communication Activities: Coordinates/supports the development and distribution of internal and external communications, including Intranet, hospital newsletters and other collateral materials.
Support hospital crisis, disaster and emergency response communicatino plans.
Demonstrates Service First/MVP in Action
Media Relations: Writes press releases/HealtheNews stories and provides research as needed for media relations.
Assist with local marketing tactics which support site growth goals and are coordinated with the site and system leadership.
Special Events: Assists in planning and coordination of both internal and external special events.
Department Support: Provides administrative support for the department audiences.
